We just returned from a longer vacation in Tschierv and this time during our stay in Zurich we discovered the Joyce Foundation. It has been there for years and I am shocked that I only found out about it now.

I have visited Joyce’s grave outside Zurich a number of times but never considered looking for anything else.

The foundation comprises a large library on James Joyce and has a wonderfully friendly and interesting staff.

I am looking forward to visiting the Foundation again sometime this year.
